CME Clearing ftp.cmegroup.com Site Will Not Be Available Saturday, April 4, 2009 Between 8:00 am – 9:00 am CST

Please be informed that CME Clearing FTP site ftp.cmegroup.com will be down for a scheduled maintenance on Saturday, April 4^th from 8:00 am until 9:00 am CST. This maintenance involves switching the physical servers behind ftp.cmegroup.com. For those firms who add the site IP addresses into their firewall, they need to encode that into their firewalls. The firms who use the domain name only should expect no impact.

During this time firms will not be able to retrieve their SPAN, Settlement price files or any other data from this site. Please note that this change will not impact CME Clearing FTP or SFTP Servers where firms send and retrieve their clearing data files.

Firms are encouraged to connect to the FTP site and retrieve their data before or after the scheduled maintenance. Also, we recommend that firms test their connectivity to the site anytime after the switch starting at 9:30 am till 11:00 am CST.
