To further harmonize the operations of its two subsidiaries, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (“CME”) and Chicago Board of Trade, Inc. (“CBOT”), CME Group Inc. (“CME Group”) has recently revised CME and CBOT corporate membership application forms. CME and CBOT corporate member applicants are now required to complete an information application as well as an agreement for the corporate membership(s) which is being applied for. CME Group has streamlined these forms for the ease of our corporate member applicants.
Corporate member applicants which are not hedge funds should complete and submit the Application for Corporate Membership – Corporate Information along with the following applicable agreement(s) for membership:
· CME Rule 106.H. Trading Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
· CBOT Rule 106.H. Trading Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
· CME Rule 106.I. Affiliate Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
· CBOT Rule 106.I. Affiliate (Trading and Equity) Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
· CBOT Rule 106.J. Equity Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
· CME Rule 106.R. Electronic Corporate Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
· CBOT Rule 106.R. Electronic Corporate Member Firm – Agreement for Membership
Hedge fund corporate member applicants should complete and submit the Application for Corporate Membership – Hedge Fund Information along with the following applicable agreement(s) for membership:
· CME Rule 106.H. Trading Member Firm – Hedge Fund Agreement for Membership
· CBOT Rule 106.S. Family of Funds Trading Member Firm – Hedge Fund Agreement for Membership
· CBOT Rule 106.S. Family of Funds Equity Member Firm – Hedge Fund Agreement for Membership
Qualified affiliates of CBOT Clearing Members or CBOT Rule 106.J. Equity Member Firms which qualify as CBOT “Membership Umbrella” Firms, should complete and submit the Application for Corporate Membership – CBOT Rule 106.I. Affiliate Umbrella Member Firm – Qualified Affiliate - Agreement for Membership.
Investment Managers of CME Corporate Equity Members – Hedge Funds applying for CME Rule 106.S. Family of Funds Member corporate membership, should complete and submit the Application for Corporate Membership – CME Rule 106.S. Family of Funds Member Firm – Hedge Fund Agreement for Membership.

Please direct your customers to the new application forms. The corporate membership application process generally takes 3 to 4 weeks once the application, applicable agreement(s) and all supporting documents are submitted to CME Group.
