Unit of Measure Update to Support Wind Power Futures and Options - This Week

Effective this Sunday, October 4 (trade date Monday, October 5), the following new value will be added to the Unit of Measure fields in CME STP FIXML and FIX, to support the launch of Wind Power futures and options.

The CME STP FIX Data dictionary has been updated to support this additional enumerated value.

This change is currently available for customer testing in New Release.

UpdateBrokerTec ID Field Changes - November 1

†Effective this Sunday, November 1 (trade date Monday, November 2), CME STP FIX and FIXML will transition to a deterministic algorithm for generating values across the specified fields.

These values were formerly generated using database sequences that incremented continuously and sequentially until reaching the limit of a 32-bit integer, at which point they would reset to 0. New values will not be incremental but will maintain uniqueness.

UpdateUnit of Measure Update to Support Compute Futures - Postponed

The Unit of Measure update to support the Compute futures launch previously scheduled for this Sunday, October 4, has been postponed pending regulatory review. An update will be announced in future CME STP Notices.

STP Trade View

NewCME STP Trade View Migration to Google Cloud - November 1

Effective Sunday, November 1 (trade date Monday, November 2), CME Group will migrate the CME STP Trade View front-end UI to Google Cloud.

Users accessing CME STP Trade View via the CME Customer Center will experience a seamless transition.

This backend system change introduces no functional or visual updates to the user interface.
