CME STP FIXML and CME STP FIX

NewBrokerTec ID Field Changes - October 4

Effective Sunday, October 4 (trade date Monday, October 5), CME STP FIX and FIXML will transition to a deterministic algorithm for generating values across the specified fields, ensuring value uniqueness for a 30-day window.

These values were formerly generated using database sequences that incremented continuously and sequentially until reaching the limit of a 32-bit integer, at which point they would reset to 0.

Unit of Measure Update to Support Compute Futures - October 4

Effective Sunday, October 4 (trade date Monday, October 5), the following new value will be added to the Unit of Measure fields in CME STP FIXML and FIX, to support the launch of Compute futures.

NewMulti-Factor Authentication Updates - September 12

Starting Saturday, September 12, CME Group will update the underlying telephony provider for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) One-Time Passcodes (OTPs).

Clients will notice updated messaging formats and new originating phone numbers for all SMS text messages and automated phone calls.

Passcodes will continue to be delivered automatically whenever you log in or perform actions requiring MFA.

Originating phone numbers will rotate dynamically. Clients should not save any specific phone number to contacts for SMS or OTP calls, as messages will arrive from multiple numbers.
