Starting Saturday, September 12, CME Group will update the underlying telephony provider for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) One-Time Passcodes (OTPs).

Clients will notice updated messaging formats and new originating phone numbers for all SMS text messages and automated phone calls.

Multi-Factor Authentication Updates
Channel Current Message New Message
SMS Text Your CME Group authentication code is XXXXXXXX. CME Group: Your authorization code is XXXXXX. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt-out.
Automated Call "Your CME Group security code is ********. To dismiss this message, press 1. To repeat this message, press 9." "Hi, your verification code for CME Group is XXXXXX." (Repeated 3 times before disconnecting.)

Passcodes will continue to be delivered automatically whenever you log in or perform actions requiring MFA.

Originating phone numbers will rotate dynamically. Clients should not save any specific phone number to contacts for SMS or OTP calls, as messages will arrive from multiple numbers.
