SUBJECT:          Suspension of Approved Status for Warranting and Delivery of Gold and                                 Silver Brands Under the Gold Futures, Gold (Enhanced Deliver) Futures,                            and Silver Futures Contracts

 

Effective immediately and until further notice, Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“COMEX” or “Exchange”) has suspended the approved status for registration (warranting) and delivery of the following brand of gold and silver against the Gold Futures, Gold (Enhanced Delivery) Futures, and Silver Futures produced on or after August 5, 2026, which currently include the gold and silver brand identified in the table below.

Gold and silver produced prior to August 5, 2026, will continue to be eligible for warranting and delivery against the Exchange’s Gold Futures, Silver Futures, and Gold (Enhanced Delivery) Futures contracts. Gold and silver produced on or after August 5, 2026, will not be eligible for warranting and delivery until further notice.

 

 

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”) will be notified of the aforementioned during the week of August 17, 2026 via the weekly notification procedures set out in Part 40 of the CFTC’s Regulations.
