Amendments to Brent Calendar Spread Option Contracts

Effective Thursday, June 21, 2018 for trade date Friday, June 22, 2018, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (“NYMEX” or “Exchange”) will amend the Brent Calendar Spread Option contracts (the “Contracts”) (see SER-8160R published June 8, 2018). Specifically, beginning with the October 2018 contract month and beyond, the Exchange will amend the underlying futures contract for the Contracts as noted in NYMEX Submission No. 18-212 and Exhibit C. The amendments are being implemented to further align the expiration of the physical and financial calendar spread option contracts.
