SUBJECT:             Notification of Brand Changes and Brand No Longer Produced

The Exchange was notified that Heraeus Metals New York LLC, producer of Gold brand HERI, has changed their brand mark from ‘HERAEUS FEINGOLD (with capital letter “E” preceding the serial number”)’ to ‘HERAEUS FEINGOLD (hand holding three roses encircled with “Heraeus Edelmetalle GmbH Hanau”)’. 

In addition, the Exchange was notified that Heraeus Ltd. Hong Kong, producer of Gold brand HERH, has changed their brand mark from ‘HERAEUS FEINGOLD (with capital “H” preceding the serial number”)’ to ‘HERAEUS FEINGOLD (hand holding three roses encircled with “Heraeus Edelmetalle Hanau”)’. 

Lastly, the Exchange was notified that Heraeus Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, producer of Gold brand HERA with brand mark ‘HERAEUS FEINGOLD (with Heraeus Edelmetalle GmbH-Hanau encircling three roses)’, is no longer producing COMEX eligible gold bars.

These changes are effective immediately.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will be notified of the brand changes and brand no longer produced during the week of May 1, 2017 via the weekly notification procedures set out in Part 40 of the CFTC Regulations.
