Test Trades on EBS NDF Test Instruments - Now Available

On Sunday, January 25 (trade date Monday, January 26), CME Group started publishing test trades on two test instruments during market hours to optimize support for EBS Market NDF instruments on CME Globex.

These test trades only appear on test instruments and do not affect production instruments or trading. EBS Market clients will see these trades on market data messages disseminated on MDP 3.0 channels.

CME Group recommends that client systems ignore all MDP 3.0 messages for the following test products:

CME STP FIX on Google Cloud - Production Internet Connectivity - April 26

As part of a phased migration of CME Straight Through Processing APIs to Google Cloud, Production internet connectivity options for CME STP FIX API are now available.

By Sunday, April 26, all clients must complete migration and connect to CME STP FIX API Production using only the Google Cloud hostnames.

CME STP FIX on Google Cloud is available in parallel to the current on-prem instance. When connecting in parallel to Google Cloud and on-prem instances, clients should ensure trades are not double-booked.

A mandatory supplemental certification for message recovery is now available for CME STP FIX on Google Cloud.

NewUpdates to EBS Market Messaging Efficiency Policy (MEP) - February 2

Effective Monday, February 2, EBS Market is adopting revisions to the CME Globex Messaging Efficiency Program (MEP) for both FX Spot and NDF. This change will continue to encourage responsible messaging practices, ensure efficient market operations and alignment to the wider CME Group MEP policy.

The MEP provides transparent messaging thresholds via a weighted messaging scoring system and measures volume ratios at the institution level, which serve as the basis for comparison against established product group benchmarks during Regular Trading Hours (RTH) and Extended Trading Hours (ETH).

NewTimestamp Field Update to Client End-of-Day Report - February 22

Effective Sunday, February 22 (trade date Monday, February 23) CME Group will update the precision for the following Timestamp fields to Nanoseconds in the EBS Client End-of-Day report CEOD200.
