RULE VIOLATION: 

514. TRADING INFRACTIONS. A. The following shall constitute trading infractions:

514.A.6  “use of profane, obscene or unbusinesslike language on the trading floor”, 515.A.9  “conduct of an unbusinesslike nature” 

FINDINGS:

On August 14, 2019, a panel of the CME/CBOT Floor Conduct Committee found that on August 8, 2019, Jones directed unbusinesslike language to another member in the Standard & Poors 500 Stock Index futures pit. The Panel found that in so doing, Jones violated CME Rules 514.A.6 and 514.A.9.

PENALTY:

The Panel imposed a fine of $1000.

August 30, 2019
