      CME 17-0642-BC

      MEMBER:

      Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

      CME RULE VIOLATION:

      Rule 811 (“Position Change Data”)

Position change data must be submitted to the Clearing House each trading day not later than the time specified by the Clearing House. Position change data will be in such form and contain such information as prescribed by the Clearing House. When requested, the identification of accounts will be made available to the Financial and Regulatory Surveillance Department.

      FINDINGS:

Pursuant to an offer of settlement in which Citigroup Global Markets Inc. (“Citigroup”) neither admitted nor denied the rule violations upon which the penalty is based, on April 17, 2018, a Panel of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (“CME”) Business Conduct Committee (“Panel”) found that on numerous dates in January 2017, Citigroup misreported open interest in multiple products between .49% and 16.05% of the total open interest in these products. The Panel concluded that Citigroup thereby violated CME Rule 811.

      PENALTY:

In accordance with the settlement offer, the Panel ordered Citigroup to pay a fine of $10,000.

      EFFECTIVE DATE:
