CME Direct Software Enhancement Coming September 19

On Sunday, September 19 (trade date Monday, September 20), there will be a CME Direct software upgrade. The software release includes enhancements to the previously announced Directed Request for Quote (DRFQ) functionality for privately negotiating transactions to request and negotiate quotes for block trades and subsequent submission. New features include:

• Ability to Withdraw – “Withdraw” intent to buy or sell if the counterparty has not yet confirmed.
• Auto Populate Bid/Offer – Quickly populate your Bid/Offer by clicking on the displayed quote in a Negotiation form.
• Alleging a Deal Enhancement – When Alleging the “Submit to Clearing” button flashes to indicates the deal is ready for submission.
• Aggregated View – When a response is no longer active it is moved to the bottom of the response list.
• Managing Directed RFQs – Initiators can cancel a negotiation with a single recipient.
