On Sunday, March 1 (trade date of Monday, March 2), CME Group implemented the availability of the CME ClearPort API on Google Cloud. The existing Production on-prem URL will remain available in parallel and is scheduled for decommissioning at the close of business on Friday, March 13.
This change affects only the HTTPS session-less and session-based connectivity options. There are no changes to the authentication, message formats or specification exchanged between CME ClearPort and client systems.
Please note: Clients can continue to use their existing entitled API IDs. †Clients utilizing a session-based connection should note that upon successful logon, the CME ClearPort API will return the new CPC-API-SESSION parameter as a cookie. Client systems are required to persist this parameter and include it in all subsequent calls to the CME ClearPort API. Client systems should, as a best practice, include cookie fields and their corresponding values received from the CME ClearPort API in every subsequent API call.
