      New - Natural Person Identifier (NPID) and Privacy Law Identifier (PLID) support in CME ClearPort API

      Effective Sunday, December 4 (trade date Monday, December 5), as noted in CFTC regulations for firms where Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) is not applicable, CME Group will support new party class source values for Natural Person Identifier (NPID) and Privacy Law Identifier (PLID) in ClearPort API.

      USI to UTI Support in CME ClearPort API

      Effective Sunday, December 4 (trade date Monday, December 5), as required by CFTC regulation § 45.5, CME Group will add support for Global Unique Transaction Identifiers (UTI) to ClearPort API.

      Please review the CME Clearing House Advisory Notice for additional details. Trades transacted prior to transition date will continue to retain current Unique Swap Identifiers (USI).
