On November 03, 2026, the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) announced a delay in the cessation of JIBAR index. The cessation date, originally scheduled for December 31, 2026, has now been officially revised to May 31, 2027.

In response to the SARB announcement, CME will postpone the production conversion event originally planned for November 20, 2026
