    • On January 6, 2020, CME Clearing published advisory 20-007, which was then revised on February 7, 2020. This advisory described the plan, pending all CFTC regulatory review periods, for New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (“NYMEX”) and Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“COMEX”) (collectively, the “Exchanges”) to transfer the listing of eight (8) metals futures and option contracts (the “Contracts”) from NYMEX to COMEX. The transfer was to have been effective with the opening of trading on Sunday, March 29, 2020, for business date March 30, 2020.

In light of recent events and in order to further facilitate market participant readiness, the Exchanges have determined to postpone this initiative until further notice. It will NOT occur on March 30 as originally published. We will publish an updated advisory when the transfer is rescheduled.
