Reminder: TLS 1.2 Internet Browser Security Update Effective December 17th

As a reminder, please note that CME plans to stop supporting older versions of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 effective this Sunday, December 17th. This was outlined in our advisory notice 17-320: http://www.cmegroup.com/notices/clearing/2017/08/Chadv17-320.pdf that was published on August 18, 2017. Below are the details of this update and its impact on firms’ ability to access CME Clearing Applications.

CME Group is committed to our customers’ information security. To deliver the best security and customer experience, effective Sunday, December 17, CME Clearing House applications will only support internet browsers that utilize Transport Layer Security TLS version 1.2. The older versions TLS 1.0 & TLS 1.1 will be disabled.
