The S&P 500 Growth Index is a factor-based benchmark designed to measure the performance of growth-oriented companies within the S&P 500. Constituents are scored and weighted based on three factor metrics: three-year trailing sales growth, three-year ratio of earnings change to price, and momentum.

Market participants can execute trades electronically via the Globex central order book, submit privately negotiated block trades and derived futures blocks or utilize Basis Trade at Index Close (BTIC) to trade directly relative to the daily cash index closing price.
