We are excited to host our inaugural Belfast Code Camp from Monday, 3 August to Friday, 7 August 2026.

This free, five-day immersive experience offers AS/A Level and BTEC students the opportunity to go beyond the classroom and gain hands-on experience in a simulated environment at a leading global financial services company.

Who we are looking for

You don’t need to be a coding wizard to join – you just need a curious mind and a genuine passion for technology. We want to hear from:

  • Students in their first year of Sixth Form or further education college (often referred to as Lower Sixth or their penultimate year) who are studying A Levels or BTECs. 
  • Individuals who are familiar with code practices and tackling logical challenges.
  • Team players who communicate well and thrive in collaborative environments.

No, Belfast Code Camp is completely free of charge.

Just bring yourself, your enthusiasm and a keen attitude to learn! Laptops and all necessary resources will be provided.

No, travel and accommodation costs are not covered by CME Group.

The camp will typically run from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day, but a detailed schedule will be shared with successful applicants closer to the start date.

Yes, lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge for all attendees each day.

Yes, all students who successfully complete the five-day camp will receive a certificate of completion.
