Federal Reserve comments in focus this morning with end to Fed blackout period. Extra interesting given the evident range of views within the FOMC. Fed's Logan comments already out, saying she would have preferred no change in rates, but of course, she wasn't voting. Fed's Schmid, the lone dissenter in favor of no change, piped up saying he sees inflation still too high. Fed's Bostic and Hammack due at noon in discussion before"The Evolving Landscape of Bank Funding" research conference hosted by the Federal Reserve Banks of Dallas, Atlanta and Cleveland. So the latter event is not on monetary policy per se but hard to avoid the main topic in circumstances. Emerging sense is more rate cuts won't come readily.
