In more conventional news, the focus will be on the monthly US personal income and spending report, which features the PCE price indexes, the Federal Reserve's favored inflation measure. The report, due at 8:30 am ET Friday, is expected to show PCE prices rose 0.3 percent on the month in February for both the total and core price index. PCE is seen up 2.5 percent on year with the core up 2.7 percent versus 2.5 percent and 2.6 percent in January, stubbornly above the Fed's 2.0 percent target.
