Survey respondents reported output and new orders grew at the fastest pace in three and four months respectively in November. New export orders were reported to have risen for the sixth month in a row and at the fastest pace since early 2022, reflecting solid demand from Europe and the United States. The survey showed a reduction in payrolls, while its measure of business confidence picked up to a three-month high. Respondents reported a smaller increase in input costs and a modest increase in selling prices.
