Expectations of future activity is down 1.1 points to 63.1 but this reading is still upbeat and the sample is not slowing workforce expansion, up 4 tenths to 51.5. Price data show moderation in input costs to a still elevated 56.7 and cooling in selling prices to 53.0.
Combined with Monday's manufacturing PMI that eased a tenth to 50.9, the global composite came in at 52.9 versus May's 53.7. Country data for services are not provided.
