The UK labour market report is expected to show that the ILO unemployment rate for the three months to April edged higher to 4.3 percent from 4.2 percent in March. Average earnings growth for the three months to April are seen easing slightly to 5.4 percent from 5.6 percent in the two prior reports.
In India, the year-over-year increase in wholesale prices is seen rising further to 1.1 percent in April after accelerating to 0.53 percent in March from a 0.20 percent rise in the previous month. It would be a sixth consecutive increase.
Switzerland's producer and import price index for April is seen rising a further 0.2 percent on the month after a 0.1 percent gain in March.
The ZEW monthly survey of financial experts in Germany is likely to show sentiment is improving. The current conditions index is expected to rise to minus 75.0 in May from minus 79.2 in April and March's minus 80.5. The report's expectations component (economic sentiment) index is forecast at 45.0 in May, up from a better-than-expected 42.9 in April. The expectations component has exceeded expectations for eight months in a row.
In the US, the small business optimism index compiled by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is forecast at 88.3 for April, little changed from 88.5 in March. It has been below the historical average of 98 since January 2022.
Producer prices in April are expected to rise 0.3 percent on the month versus a 0.2 percent rise in March. The annual rate in April is seen at 2.2 percent versus May's 2.1 percent. May's ex-food ex-energy rate is seen up 0.2 percent on the month and up 2.3 percent on the year.
Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook will speak on growth and change at community development financial institutions at"Expanding Access to Capital for CDFIs" hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York at 9:10 a.m. EDT (1315 GMT).
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will participate in a moderated discussion with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) President Klaas Knot at the annual general meeting of the Foreign Bankers' Association at 10 a.m. EDT (1400 GMT).

In Australia, the seasonally adjusted wage price index is forecast to rise 1.0 percent on quarter in the January-March period after rising 0.9 percent in October-December and 1.3 percent in the prior quarter. The year-over-year rate of wage growth is seen accelerating to 4.4 percent in the first quarter from 4.2 percent in the fourth quarter and 4.0 percent previously.
