Consumer inflation in South Korea eased to 3.2 percent on year in December from 3.3 percent in November and 3.8 percent in October.
In a statement on its Nov. 30 rate decision, the board said it will maintain a restrictive policy stance for a sufficiently long period of time until it is confident that inflation will converge on the target level of 2 percent.
