The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has kept policy interest rate steady at 5.5 percent at its last two meetings and is expected to do so again at their October meeting. The RBNZ will release its policy decision at 2 p.m. in Wellington on Wednesday, Oct. 4, which is 9 p.m. EDT Tuesday (0100 GMT Wednesday).
