Switzerland's purchasing mangers' index for the manufacturing sector is expected to lose further ground to 44.0 in July from 44.9 in June.

In the US, ADP's July employment number is forecast at 185,000, which would compare with June growth in private payrolls reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of 149,000. ADP's number for June was way off at 497,000.

Unit motor vehicle sales in July are expected to edge lower to a 15.6 million annualized rate from June's 15.7 million, which compared with expectations for 15.3 million.

Australia's goods and services trade in June is forecast to post a surplus of A$10.5 billion versus May's surplus of A$11.8 billion.

In China, S&P's services PMI in July is expected to slow to 52.4 versus June's 53.9, which marked a noticeable slowdown from May's 57.1.
