For the Italian consumer price index for May, no revision is expected, leaving a 0.3 percent monthly increase and a 7.6 percent annual inflation rate, the latter down from April's final 8.2 percent.

In the Eurozone, no revision is expected to the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), leaving a 6.1 percent annual headline rate, down from April's final 7.0 percent, and a 5.3 percent narrow core, down from 5.6 percent.

The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index in the first indication for June, which tumbled in May by 4.3 points to 59.2, is expected to rebound but only a little, to 60.5.
