After a much stronger-than-expected 55.2 in January, the ISM services index in February is expected to slow to 54.5. Business activity in the US service sector bounced back into growth territory at the start of the year, along with a global shift to spending on services from goods, as domestic new orders surged on some carryover from the previous year.
