I typically spend my days collaborating with different members from my immediate team and others within the Global Information Security (GIS) Department and across the broader IT organization. A lot of discussion involves the technology controls that are applicable to different applications, infrastructure, processes, and functions within CME Group. In addition, I manage the IT control testing as part of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) system safeguards regulation to ensure that we are in compliance.

Overall, my team and I ensure that as we are testing certain applications or infrastructure, we are in compliance with our standards, policies, and regulations.

I enjoy working with a lot of people across the organization and the fact that every day is completely different. I truly learn something new every day and that is very rewarding!
