While no day is the same, I have the ownership and autonomy to determine how I prioritize my days.   I typically spend my days in a series of meetings with either my teams or those I am working with on ongoing initiatives, presenting to senior leadership, or collaborating with my network outside my immediate division.  When I am not in meetings, I spend time developing strategic initiatives, creating policies, developing presentations, or attending training to stay up on the latest cyber security trends.

I collaborate with my direct teams – Insider Risk and Content and Automation – through team meetings, direct one-on-ones, or through informal discussions on current work efforts. I also collaborate with other cybersecurity leaders in my division to discuss decisions that need to be made on current projects, brainstorm ideas for new initiatives, or seek advice from mentors. Outside of my division, I collaborate with our Employee Resource Groups, especially Women in Technology, to help create a more inclusive culture within CME Group. This includes planning events, presenting to internal and external audiences on careers in cybersecurity, or participating in learning events.

What I enjoy most about my role and working at CME Group are the people.  I can go to just about anyone and they are willing to go above and beyond to answer my questions, contribute to a project or event, or just grab coffee and network.
