Term Description
Alias CME-assigned value identifying a trading participant as the executing party for trades carried out on a particular relationship.
Disclosed

A form of trading where both parties are fully known to each other.

Value used to identify the GFID to a LC counterparty on the Market Data and Trades for Disclosed relationships

(where counterparty identities are known to each other).
Entitlement A permission for a Liquidity Consumer to view and trade upon a given Stream.
GFID

Globex Firm ID GFID to which the Price Segment is assigned.
ID Unique identifier for the GFID
LC Alias

Alias used for the LC in API order/trade messaging.

LC (Liquidity Consumer) A trading participant who provides market data on price Streams and can receive orders from their Liquidity Consumers.
LC Alias Override

If specified will override LC Alias field in API order/trade messaging.
LC Name Internal LC Name
LP A trading participant who provides market data on price Streams and can receive orders from their Liquidity Consumers.
LP Code LP GFID ID
LP GFID Globex Firm ID for LP.
Non-Disclosed A form of trading where both parties know each other only by an anonymous identifier.

(where counterparty identities are not know to each other).
Override User-defined value to override CME-defined Alias and/or Settlement Party in trade messaging.
Price Segment A collection of pricing Streams grouped generally by quality.
Region

NY, LN, TY. Determines the region in which the GFID operates (Americas/New York, EMEA/London, APAC/Tokyo). In order to provide liquidity to an LC in a given region the LP must also have a GFID there.
Relationship The linking of an Liquidity Consumer to an LP to allow trading to occur on entitled Streams.
Segment Name A free text field that users can use to name their Price Segments whatever they choose.

Segment Type

SW (Sweepable) or ST (Single Ticket)
Settlement Party CME-assigned value identifying the settlement party for trades carried out on a particular relationship.
Stream A subscription to a particular instrument under a given Price Segment.
