International Incentive Programs

CME Group has a number of international incentive programs that provide its global customer base with discounted pricing on certain CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX products.

How to Apply

For each incentive program please complete the corresponding application and provide supporting documentation.


International Incentive Program (IIP)

The International Incentive Program (IIP) enables proprietary trading firms located outside of North America to receive discounted fees for qualified products. These incentives apply only to electronic proprietary trades that are done by qualified registered traders in accordance with CME Group policies. IIP participants will receive discounted fees provided that they satisfy minimum quarterly volume requirements. International Cross Asset Volume Incentive Program (IVIP)

The International Cross Asset Volume Incentive Program (“IVIP”) enables trading arcades located outside North America trading on CME Globex® Platform to obtain discounted fees on qualified products provided that they satisfy minimum quarterly volume requirements.

Emerging Bank Incentive Program (EMBIP)

The Emerging Markets Bank Incentive Program (EMBIP) allows banks in qualified countries to receive discounted fees for their proprietary trading of CME Group products. Program participants receive discounted fees on CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX products traded electronically.

Central Bank Incentive Program (CBIP)

The Central Bank Incentive Program allows Central Banks to receive discounted fees for their proprietary trading of CME Group products traded electronically. Foreign branches of Central Banking groups may participate, as well as accounts traded by an external asset manager on behalf of the applicant Central Bank.

FX CTA/Hedge Fund Incentive Program

CME’s CTA/Hedge Fund Program allows qualified hedge funds and commodity trading advisors (CTAs) to receive discounted fees for their CME electronic Foreign Exchange (eFX) trades that are executed on the CME Globex trading platform.


Latin American Incentive Programs

Latin America Incentive Program for Commercial Hedgers (LACIP)

The Latin America Commercial Incentive Program (LACIP) is a program that allows commercial hedgers involved in agriculture, energy and metals in the Latin America region to receive discounted fees for their proprietary trading of CME Group Commodity products executed electronically.

Fund Manager Incentive Program (FMIP)

The Fund Manager Incentive Program (FMIP) is a program that allows Fund Management Firms (Fund Managers) in Latin America to receive discounted fees for the trading of certain CME Group products for approved fund accounts which are managed by the fund manager.

Latin America Proprietary Trading Incentive Program (LAPTIP)

The Latin America Proprietary Trading Incentive Program (LAPTIP) allows brokers and proprietary trading firms located in the region to receive discounted fees for qualified CME Group products. Discounted fees apply to electronic proprietary trades that are done by qualified registered traders.
