Trading KCBT Wheat in Chicago FAQ

CME Group represents the merger of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), its commodity exchange division, Commodity Exchange, Inc. (COMEX) and the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT). The formation of CME Group did not, however, result in any change to trading privileges for CME, CBOT, NYMEX/COMEX, and KCBT members.

Members of CME Group's legacy exchanges continue to trade on the same terms as before the merger transactions. To cross-trade products at member rates, participants need to have memberships at each of the CME Group legacy exchanges.

CME, CBOT, NYMEX/COMEX and KCBT membership types, fees and requirements vary, as do terms for purchasing and leasing memberships.

For KCBT Membership information, please go to http://www.kcbt.com/membership_1.html.

Find descriptions and eligibility requirements for each of the membership types offered by CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX.

Learn how to apply for each membership type and find the forms required to get your membership application started.

Membership prices are determined via an auction process. View current and historical pricing for each membership type offered for purchase or lease.
