Futures and Options Requests

Use the Request Center - Futures and Options Requests function to create and manage entities for Futures & Options.

The following functions are available:

  • Globex Firms: An entity allowed to trade products in accordance with its clearing relationships.

A Globex Firm ID (GFID) is a logical instance that represents the entity.

  • Drop Copy Groups: Using a Drop Copy Group connection, entities can receive real-time copies of CME Globex Execution, Order and Acknowledgment messages.
  • iLink (Order Entry) Sessions: Order Entry sessions are used to send and receive session and business layer messages between the client and host.
  • Operator ID: Identifies a trading participant (individual or ATS Group) that accesses and submits messages to CME Globex.

Note: During market closure, Request Center functions are available, but activity is not processed until the market is open.
