Subject Performance Bond Requirement Changes - 4/30/02

On Monday, April 29, 2002, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc., Performance Bond staff met to review price volatility for Live Cattle, Feeder Cattle and Lean Hog commodities and approved the performance bond changes described below.  These changes will become effective Tuesday, April 30, 2002.

The staff recommendations are listed below:
