Subject Performance Bond Requirement Changes for All Commodities - November 1, 2001

At its' meeting on Thursday, October 25, 2001, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc., Performance Bond Staff met to review price volatility for all commodities and approved the performance bond changes described below. These requirements will become effective at the close of business on Thursday, November 1, 2001.
