Euro Settlement Accounts
NYMEX announced the listing of new products on March 17 which will both trade and settle in EUROS. Please note that U.S. banking polices prohibit the commingling of U.S. dollars and other foreign currencies and thus participating Clearing Members will be required to maintain additional bank accounts to handle the settlement processing of EUROS. In addition, Clearing Members must complete the attached banking resolution for each EURO settlement account and return it to the attention of Nancy Cumberbatch of the Financial Surveillance Division (ncumberbatch@nymex.com; Fax# 212-301-4710) prior to clearing these new products.
