Temporary Halt in Trading of NYMEX Trading Rights – Monday, August 18, 2008, 3:00 PM until 9:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2008
In order to provide the Class A Members with an opportunity to assess the outcome of the Special Meeting of the Class A Members and the effect of the vote on the value of the NYMEX Class A Memberships, the Exchange has determined to temporarily suspended the acceptance and posting of bids and offers on NYMEX Trading Rights from 3:00 p.m. today until 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. All bids and offers that were previously on file with the Membership Department have been rendered null and void. The Membership Department will begin accepting new bids and offers for NYMEX Trading Rights on Wednesday August 20, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.
