One-Day Halt in Trading of NYMEX Trading Rights and Bundles - Monday, January 28, 2008
NYMEX Holdings, Inc. and CM Group, Inc. issued a joint press release today confirming that we are in preliminary discussions regarding CME Group's potential acquisition of NYMEX. As a result, please be advised that effective today, Monday, January 28, 2008, the Exchange has temporarily suspended the acceptance and posting of bids and offers on NYMEX Trading Rights and NYMEX Bundles (NYMEX Trading Right + 30,000 shares NMX A-3 Common Stock). All bids and offers for NYMEX Trading Rights and NYMEX Bundles previously on file with the Membership Department have been rendered null and void. The Membership Department will begin accepting new bids and offers for NYMEX Trading Rights and NYMEX Bundles on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 9:00 AM.
