Notice 576 November 10, 2008 Production Launch of CME Group Data into ConfirmHub On Sunday evening, November 9 (for trade date November 10), CME Group began providing production data to ConfirmHub, for registered users. CME Group customers are invited to register for and learn more about the ConfirmHub's confirmation and straight-through-processing service at nymex.com/confirmhub. A. ConfirmHub Overview ConfirmHub, LLC is a joint venture founded in 2004 by the leaders in the energy brokerage and exchange industry. The current membership consists of the GFI Group, Amerex, ICAP, Tullett Prebon and the CME Group. The ConfirmHub allows users to manage confirmation processing of brokered, exchange-traded, and bilateral transactions through a single web services API and an interactive, web-based trade confirmation application. B. ConfirmHub Process The trade desk initiates the transaction. Then, the broker, the exchange and/or the counterparties processe the trade information in their respective systems. This information is sent to ConfirmHub, which standardizes the various forms into a common value set and presentation format. C. CME Group on ConfirmHub After a customer registers for ConfirmHub, CME Group will securely stream that customer's trade data to ConfirmHub. ConfirmHub will pass along this data to the end-user via a web-based front-end or API through its advanced confirmation processing system. The customer is provided with an added level of confirmation for all CME Group transactions, including any brokered through ClearPort.
