De-Listing of the Aluminum Back-Month Futures and Options Contract
The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. will de-list the back months in the Aluminum Futures and Options Contracts. The effective date for the de-listing is Friday, July 18, 2008. The available months for trading for the Aluminum Futures Contract will be reduced from spot plus twenty four consecutive contract months to spot plus three consecutive contract months. In addition, the trading months for the Aluminum Options Contract will only be available for the months in which the underlying futures contract is listed.
