Weekend Test for Upcoming listing of NYMEX One-Month Calendar Spread Options and Crack Spread Options on CME Globex
In preparation for the upcoming (December 16, 2007 for trade date December 17, 2007), launch of NYMEX Division Crack Spread Options and One-Month Calendar Spread Options in Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Heating Oil, and RBOB Gasoline on the CME Globex® platform, the Exchange will be conducting a weekend end-to-end production test and mock trading session.

The production test will take place Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern Time, on the NYMEX trading floor, or off-site with proper connectivity to CME Globex®.

Additionally, User Defined Spread (UDS) functionality on the above options will be made available for the December 16 production launch, and will be in-scope for the December 8 production test.

All interested traders are especially encouraged to participate in the December 8, 2007, test to allow proper time for any necessary registration or software adjustments that must be made before the December 16th for December 17th Trade Date launch. The session will provide an opportunity to ensure proper connectivity and setup of trading software as well as offer the time to practice in a simulated trading environment.

On-site attendance or off-site availability is mandatory for the December 8th test for all ISVs certified for trading Options on CME Globex®. All Clearing Members who offer Globex connectivity are reminded to have staff on-site or available off-site, and to have all systems available for production trading.

All Members are reminded that they must connect to the CME Globex platform via a certified Options ISV (or CME EOS Trader) in order to trade, and connectivity must be established before the product test dates.
