| Extension for Submission of COMEX EFP Transactions |

| As noted in prior Notice 07-393 dated August 10, 2007 and Notice 07-404 dated August 17, 2007, COMEX Division Exchanges of Futures for Physicals (EFP) transactions were permissioned to be submitted via the NYMEX ClearPort® Clearing Trade Entry Portal. In conjunction with this enhancement, the previously-established procedure which provided Clearing Members the ability to fax EFP information to the COMEX Trade Corrections Area was directed to be terminated effective Friday, August 31, 2007 (Notice 07-416).
However, due to operational issues that have been raised, NYMEX is extending use of the fax facility to the COMEX Corrections Area through Monday, October 1, 2007. NYMEX Staff will continue to review operational considerations with respect to the COMEX Division EFP submissions and will communicate any additional procedural changes. |
