Weekend Test for Upcoming Launch of Heating Oil and RBOB Gasoline Options on CME Globex
In preparation for the upcoming launch of Heating Oil Options and RBOB Gasoline Options on CME Globex®, the Exchange will be conducting a weekend end-to-end production test and mock trading session on Saturday, August 11, 2007, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time, on the NYMEX trading floor and off-site with proper connectivity to CME Globex. NYMEX Heating Oil Options (OH) and RBOB Gasoline Options (OB) will launch on CME Globex on August 19, 2007 for trade date August 20, 2007. All interested traders are strongly encouraged to participate in the August 11 test to allow proper time for any necessary registration or software adjustments that must be made before the August 19th launch. This session will provide an opportunity to ensure proper connectivity and setup of trading software as well as offer the time to practice in a simulated trading environment. On-site attendance or off-site availability is mandatory for the August 11 test for all ISVs certified for trading Options on CME Globex. All Clearing Members who offer CME Globex connectivity are reminded to have staff on-site or available off-site, and to have all systems available for production trading. Connectivity to CME Globex must be established prior to the production test date. Interested traders may connect to the CME Globex platform via a certified Options ISV, CME EOS Trader (free for NYMEX and COMEX Members), or their own proprietary certified options system in order to trade.
