NYMEX to Host "Energy and Metals Day"
Please join NYMEX on Wednesday May 23, 2007 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at One North End Avenue for a day of seminars concerning current issues influencing our energy and metals markets.

“NYMEX Energy and Metals Day” will explore the geopolitical, fundamental and technical factors that are feeding the current price trends and volatility of our markets. The Day is free of charge and open to all traders, clerks, Nymex employees, customers and their guests.

The conference will address the political climate in Iran and the growing need for natural resources in Asia. We will also look at the potential consequences of China's trillion dollar trade surplus, and the impact of the Iraq War impact on energy prices.

Other speakers will examine the supply demand picture for Crude Oil and its Products, Natural Gas, Precious Metals and Copper, and offer some fresh ideas in the areas of technical trading and improving trading discipline.

A cocktail reception will follow on the Energy Floor 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A mock trading session will be part of the night's activities.
