Decommissioning of NYMEX IBM Back-Office Systems (RJE, Peer-to-Peer) and Transition to NYMEX SFTP for Clearing Data Retrieval and CM/Omnibus File Submissions
For all firms currently using RJE or Peer-to-Peer connections to receive Clearing Data from NYMEX, as well as those using the same type of connection or an alternative method to send NYMEX Position Change Submissions (PCS) & Large Trader Reports (LTR) – NYMEX is scheduled to decommission its back-office IBM system on June 30th, 2007.

It is extremely important that firms start migrating their processes over to the NYMEX Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) server as soon as possible, to ensure enough time is allocated for testing your inbound and outbound data transfers prior to June 30, 2007. Firms that are not currently registered for SFTP may experience back office operational issues if they do not submit the attached registration form in a timely matter. For additional details on NYMEX SFTP (including registration requirements and outbound/inbound filenames), please see the attached .PDF entitled "NYMEX SFTP Details" (below).
