Please be advised that on Sunday, May 6 for trade date May 7, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. is scheduled to launch a uranium futures contract which will be cash settled. This contract will settle on the spot month-end U3O8 price published by Ux Consulting Company, LLC. U3O8 or “yellowcake” refers to concentrated uranium oxide that is produced from uranium ore and is the most actively traded uranium-related commodity. This new contract will provide U3O8 risk management for various segments of the uranium industry.

The NYMEX UxC Uranium U3O8 Swap futures contract is scheduled to be listed for trading on the CME Globex® trading system and the NYMEX ClearPort® Clearing system during regular CME Globex® and NYMEX ClearPort® hours. At the beginning of trade date May 7 (i.e. at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 6), 36 consecutive months are scheduled to be listed. The first listed month will be June 2007. Margins and position limits will be announced in separate notices.
