Reminder: New TMS Related Operational Procedures on Option Expirations
On option expirations, all brokers with trading activity (including as-of processing) in the expiring options contract will be required to pick up their expiring option report at the Trade Processing Room (TPR) at approximately 1:45 P.M. These reports must be picked up and should be reviewed for completeness. Upon a determination by Trade Processing Room staff that there are no pending issues, an announcement will be made that all representatives should return their reports to the TPR, at which time they will be asked to sign them acknowledging that they have verified the completeness and accuracy of the expiring options data. Failure to comply with the aforementioned operational procedures will result in disciplinary action.
