ScotiaMocatta Exchange Licensed Depository
The Exchange has received approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to amend Supplement No. 2 of the COMEX Gold and Silver Futures Contracts and Supplement No. 1 of the NYMEX Platinum and Palladium Futures Contracts to add the ScotiaMocatta Depository, A Division of the Bank of Nova Scotia, vault facility located at 230-59 International Airport Center Boulevard, Building C, Suite 120, Jamaica, New York as an Exchange Licensed Depository for the storage of precious metals deliverable against the Exchange's Precious Metals Futures Contracts. The approved amendments are effective March 19, 2007. ScotiaMocatta's current Licensed Depository at 26 Broadway will remain operational until all metal is transferred to the new facility at 230-59 International Airport Center Boulevard, Jamaica, New York. At such time as the transfer is complete, the Exchange intends to delist ScotiaMocatta’s vault facility at 26 Broadway. Click here for copies of the proposed amendments.
